celebration hosted by the Mission Literacy in Motion Family Literacy Committee in
collaboration with local partners.
The Riot of Reading brings together families, educators, health professionals, cultural
partners, and community leaders to celebrate literacy in all its forms. The event features
community resources, cultural displays, live entertainment, and family-friendly activities,
while honouring Indigenous traditions through opening ceremonies.
