Mission Yoga and Personal Training (formerly Pilates Studio)  has been serving the community since 2008.  Michael is a dedicated personal trainer (BCRPA certified) who understands the challenges of building a fitness routine.  He is very knowledgeable and supportive.  Rose is an Iyengar certified yoga teacher who welcomes anyone who is interested in yoga.  Years of training and experience makes Mission Yoga and Personal Training a comfortable place to gain or re-gain a fitness and health routine.

**Winner of the Myrtle Evertt 2012 Woman of the Year Award.** Teresa is also a certified Acupressure Therapist, Reflexology, Holistic massage, Practitioner and specializes in Relaxation, Rejuvenation Full Body Massage. Teresa brings with her over 15 years of experience in the field of Medical and Psychiatric Nursing as well as holistic therapies. Teresa practices the integrated wellness approach and supportive, solution-focused coaching to promote health and healing of body, mind and spirit. Teresa has participated at Wellness Fairs, Pharmasave Live Well Clinics, and offers ongoing Wellness programs in medical facilities and community centres throughout the Lower Mainland. Teresa is totally dedicated to empowering others to optimize their health and wellness.

Centennial Place is a Clubhouse (mental health support) program operated by Communitas Supportive Care Society and funded by Fraser Health. First opening its doors in 2011 Centennial Place has been Missions hub for mental wellness for the last 5 years. Centennial Place offers hope, encouragement and opportunities to individuals in our Mission community.

Individuals who choose to attend Centennial Place become members and enjoy many benefits. First and foremost our members have access to a plethora of wellness activities and classes available on a regular basis. Members also are supported towards opportunities in the community including gaining employment, developing a healthy social network and accessing education.

Markus was born and raised in Germany and immigrated to Canada in 1986. He has been actively involved in the dental field for the past 23 years and began his career as a dental technician in 1993. He became an instructor in dental technology program in 1999 and a denturist in 2006. He loves to advance his professional skills and recently completed certification to become the first Canadian denturist to offer lower suction dentures which is a revolutionary new way of making dentures. He resides with his wife and seven children in Mission and you may meet him and his family at various community and school events. Markus is a member of the Mission Rotary Club and he regularly presents at various wellness events supporting his community.

Angie has been an administrator for over 30 years. She started her career with Telus and after 24 years in the corporate jungle she left to help her family. Values re-evaluated, Angie started working for the Non-profit industry and truly found her niche. She started with the Foundation in 2015 and has been working towards updating their social media profile as well as community presence.

Ethel dedicates her time to the community as a Mission chamber member previously serving on the Board of Directors, the Government Affairs & the Budget Committee. She is also a member of the Mortgage Brokers Association and the Bigstone Cree Nation. She was recently appointment to the Economic Development Select Committee for the City of Mission and the Employment Lands Strategy Committee and a Board of Director for the Mission Friendship Centre Society.

I am a Chinese-born designer living in Vancouver. After graduating from the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology with a major in printing art design, I studied Graphic & Digital Design at the University of the Fraser Valley to improve my digital skills. I’ve been creating since Grade 3 when I started learning Chinese calligraphy, and am passionate about illustration, graphic design, and painting because they allow me to share how I experience life. I also love being active and having fun. My favourite part-time jobs in Shanghai were working in a dance club and doing modeling jobs.
